Responsibilities

Reporting to the General Manager, the Technical Support Specialist is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Technology Department, you will be tasked with monitoring and maintaining an organization’s computer systems and networks. You will be responsible for diagnosing any hardware or software faults with these systems and will solve the issues either in person or over the phone.

  • Performing technical troubleshooting, researching, maintenance, and setup of hardware.

  • Provide second-level problem determination on problems reported by end-users.

  • Assist end-users in resolving the problem by guiding end-users on possible solutions.

  • Updates, tracks, and closes problems under his/her tower.

  • Resolving complex computer system problems.

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

  • At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

  • Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Technical & Helpdesk Support or equivalent.

  • ​Hands-on experience with end user applications

  • In-depth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security and monitoring)

  • Identifying situations requiring action and resolving problems proactively

  • Problem solving skills.

  • Amenable to work 5x/week

  • Willing to travel to employee’s houses for monthly asset checking.

  • Willing to be under project-based employment for 3 to 6 months.
