Position Overview:

As part of the Game Design Team, the Junior Game Designer will be working closely with fellow game designers under the supervision of the Lead Game Designer. They will be responsible for doing game design benchmarks, creating game features, and coming up with game design solutions that would greatly help improve the project. The Junior Game Designer must be creative, flexible, teachable, and able to communicate well

​

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate well with different teams to come up with effective game design solutions 

• Create different kinds of game design documents that are concise and presentable 

• Benchmark existing games 

• Present game ideas to supervisor and other team members

• Create effective UI/UX wireframes

• Playtest internal game builds occasionally

• Attend training sessions and workshops as required

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, EMC, or a related field

​

Technical/Functional Skills:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs 

• Able to think creatively and critically

• Extensive knowledge about video games and the video game industry 

• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

• Self-motivated, self-directed, and adaptable

• Resilient and able to accept constructive feedback

• Able to communicate ideas—both verbal and written—clearly
