Job title: Junior 2D Animator

Position Overview:

The Junior 2D Animator will be directly reporting to the Animator Team Leader or Art Director under the Art Department. He/She will create movement in a two-dimensional space websites, video games and advertisements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet with the design team to discuss requirements and specifications 

• Establishing artwork for the backgrounds and layouts 

• Integrating images, characters, etc into background graphic 

• Preparing all animation elements for compositing, including delivering in set formats

• Enhancing animation with special effects at post-production stage

​

Education:

High school graduate or equivalent.

​

Experience:

At least 1 year of work experience as an animator or similar field

Proficient in any of the following Spine, Unity, Adobe Animate, Dragon Bones

​

Technical/Functional Skills:

• Training in 2D animation, both cell and computer graphics 

• Ability to visualize abstract concepts 

• Experience with storyboarding, clean ups and layout design 

• Drawing ability, artistic mindset

• Visual storytelling

• Ability to draw in a variety of styles and genres

• Knowledge of current techniques and trends in animation

• Ability to work under pressure and deliver on deadline

• Familiarity with a range of animation software and techniques

• Ability to work to a schedule and plan workflows to meet deadlines
